Bite guards

• Patients who suffer from tooth grinding or bruxism can have worn teeth and potential jaw joint pain, headaches and/or muscle pain.
• Bite guards are commonly provided to help alleviate these symptoms. There are varying types of bite guard available, our dentists can advise the appropriate type for you.

Sports Mouthguards

• These can be provided from a simple impression of the teeth to protect the mouth from injury during sporting activities.

Anti snoring devices

• A combination of factors can cause snoring. The position of the lower jaw whilst sleeping can make snoring more likely as the tongue can drop towards the soft palate. These devices can be made in a laboratory in order to protrude the lower jaw and reduce the incidence of snoring.
• Some severe cases may require further investigation from your General Medical Practitioner and possible referral to a sleep clinic.
