Home Visits
- We can arrange to do home visits for registered patients who are elderly or disabled where they cannot make it to the practice.
- The scope of treatments we can provide in the home are limited.
- We can visit care homes for those that need it.
Denture Repair Service
We offer a denture repair service through dental laboratories that we use. Repairs can take up to 48 hours to be returned.

Appointment Reminders
- We offer a complimentary text messaging or email reminder service for patient appointments.
- Failed appointments prevent others from accessing much needed treatment and also cost the practice financially as we are here to provide a service for patients.
- We expect patients to call the practice to give at least 24 hours notice for cancelling appointments otherwise you may be charged. This includes patients who are exempt from NHS charges.
Emergency Appointments
- We have daily emergency appointment slots that are allocated on a first come first served basis.
- Our priority are patients who are suffering from severe pain or infections.
- Please call first thing in the morning so we can allocate appointments accordingly.
Out with normal practice hours the emergency numbers are:
NHS patients – Call NHS 24 on 111 (for severe pain or infections)
LIDP and Private patients – Call NHS 24 on 111 or call 0131 287 4799 (for all dental emergencies Monday to Friday 6pm to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 6pm only)
