Cosmetic Treatments

All cosmetic treatments require your dentist to assess your suitability for treatment and to advise you accordingly. Here at Juniper Dental Care we have a responsibility to ensure that your oral health is not adversely affected by treatments that you may wish to have.

Whitening teeth

• Teeth can discolour over time due to ageing, smoking and certain foods and drinks. Tooth whitening can improve the appearance of teeth without invasive tooth preparation.
• Treatment involves taking impressions of the teeth so that custom made trays can be fitted. The trays can then hold whitening gel against specific tooth surfaces over a number of applications to achieve the desired result.

Veneers

• These are thin ceramic facings custom made in a laboratory that are fixed onto the surface of the teeth to improve the appearance and colour.
• They require the tooth surface to be trimmed to accommodate the ceramic.

Straightening Teeth

• There are many options available from fixed “train-track” appliances to invisible aligners.

Some basic cases can be treated here at the practice, more complex cases can be referred to a specialist.

Facial Aesthetics

We offer non surgical facial aesthetic treatments to smooth lines and rejuvenate and enhance problem areas.
